hanwell school of boxing
There is quite a history associated with the club which was established in Hanwell in 1949. We became a charity in 2004 and moved to our current site in 2011. We are grateful to Sport England, the London Marathon Charitable Trust and to Ealing Council for helping us improve the facilities and make us the popular club we have become.
Let us help you get fit and teach you how to box
Everyone has to start somewhere - we can teach beginners, we can teach the moves but what we require from you is effort - and yes you will get fit.
We have done our job when we have a junior and senior team of carded boxers who take part in competitions representing the club.
ADULTS: Regrettably unless you are actively looking to compete we cannot offer you a space during the week.
You may ask us about our non-contact weekend sessions or our 1-2-1 sessions at a mutually convenient time
We require all prospective members to view part of a session before we can take them on - boxing is not for everyone!
Viewing sessions on a Friday by appointment only.
Membership is £50 per year. Sessions cost £3 for juniors and £5 for seniors.
Payments will now be made on-line in advance.
Due to Covid 19 we now require our members to purchase their own equipment. Some items can be brought through our shop. We are a sparring club when we are allowed and therefore the following are needed
- gum shields - hand wraps - bag gloves - skipping rope
Tournaments: When life gets back to normal we would hope to have at least one home tournament per year.
